A Birthmother Never Forgets
A long time ago
I learned of you
And inside of me
Is where you grew
I remember the awe
Of each day of your being
And dreamed of the day
When you, I'd be seeing
I felt every kick
And each little flutter
When I heard your heartbeat
My heart turned to butter
I remember the day
You entered the world
And I counted your toes
When I touched them, they curled
I took your tiny hand in mine
And made a solemn vow
I'd love you forever
Starting right now
Then in an instant
They took you afar
I've searched and searched
Wondering where you are
I count each year
As they pass by
I am sad on holidays
But on your birthday, I cry
My heart yearns daily
To kiss your sweet face
To tuck you in at night
It should have been my place.
Someone else loved you
And kissed you goodnight
And I only Pray for God
To make you alright.
Today I search for you my Child
And Pray for the strength
To show me a path to you
I will go to any length.
My secrets been hidden
For so many years
But my love for you
Flows as rapid as my tears.
To those who are frustrated and feel their search is tough just remember:
TO GIVE UP BRINGS NO END AND WE HAVE FOUGHT FOR WHO WE ARE AND THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE FIGHTING FOR US.THEY JUST HAVEN'T FOUND US YET. THERE ARE MORE LOST SOULS WHO AREN'T AS FAR AS WE ARE IN OUR SEARCH AND THEY WILL NEED US TO GUIDE THEM AND TEACH THEM WHAT WE KNOW.
WE ALL WILL BE REUNITED I TAKE'S PATIENCE AND WE MUST LET GOD SHOW US THE WAY. HE HAS A PLAN FOR EVERYONE OF US AND IN HIS PLAN I'M SURE HE MEANT FOR ALL OF US TO MEET AND UNITE.

Letter to any birth parents who want no contact if by chance your child does find you please don't hang up on them tell them why you don't want contact don't leave them wondering. They may need some important info that could save their lives some of our adoptees searching are terminally ill and need this kind of information you could be the one to save their life.
Thus they would be forever grateful because you gave them a chance for happiness again. You may be the only one who could make the difference in their lives.
